Felicity Jones was born and raised in England and is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in plays, films and television from the age of 12. Her first role was in The Treasure Seekers, a TV film. She then played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch followed by the follow-up Weirdsister college. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in numerous films. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 the actress was a star for her work. The character she portrayed for the character of The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination for her first. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's second wife in the biopic, earned a lot of praise both from critics and people who watched for how she played her. Inferno featuring Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her outstanding talent and contribution to film.
