Jenna Fischer's most famous role was that of Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for the Best Actress in an Supporting Role. She also won two SAG Awards.
Jenna was raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was attracted by her mother's worship services as she began her career.
Fischer is an actor with theatre training. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.

Every week, it was within the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloaded in the first couple years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books. The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide, in which she details her journey through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two of the Best Friends who were there (co-authored by Angela Kinsey), which is an account of their most memorable friendship and time working in The Office.
