Jenna Fischer was best known for her role as Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on TV. This role brought her an Emmy nomination in the Most Outstanding Supporting Actress category and she also was awarded two SAG Awards, both for outstanding performances by an ensemble cast in a comedy.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne took part in plays at church. The passion for performing and theatre was cultivated when she was a young girl.
Fischer is an actress who has the theater background. In Off-Broadway's play Reasons to be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer starred. The Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office's Angela Kinsey (the cast mate of Fischer) and her real life best friend Angela Kinsey, who is from The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. The debut year, the show received more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life A Survival Guide where she outlines her path to Hollywood as a working actor, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends who Were There, which is a story of the greatest friendship they had and their time on The Office.
