Jenna Fischer's most famous role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she won an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was a child who watched her mother, Anne who was a church performer. This instilled in her a love for theatre.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her roots. She starred in the Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. She went on to star at the premiere world-wide of Steve Martin's newest show Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking performance in the Old Globe Theatre.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer created Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has proven to be an enormous success, making in the Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads during its initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends there. This autobiography is about the relationship between them and how they worked for The Office.
